The Quantum Leap was a television show where TV heartthrob Scott Bakula made your mother think impure thoughts about a man who wasn't your father and also played Sam, brilliant scientist trapped in his own machine. This machine would send his consciousness into the bodies of others so that Sam could help improve their lives. This is known as "leaping." With Al, a man only Sam could see, and computer Ziggy, Sam had to right wrongs in hope that the next leap would be the leap home. Sam never made that leap home, though (spoilers) so the series is ripe to be brought back to prime-time television with brand new episodes. S06E01 Sam leaps into a young woman who identifies as a girl gamer. His mission is to reunite her with her estranged, conservative mother who disapproves of her "unladly-like gaming lifestyle" while at the same time proving her gamer cred. Only problem is that Sam is horrible at video games and mothers. "Oh boy..." S06E02 Sam leaps into the body of a contestant on a reality television show. He has to survive the challenges of the program and the film crew but, as it turns out, his kitchen is a real nightmare. "Oh boy..." S06E03 Sam leaps into the body of a tumblr. Now he has to deal with the hardships of having Sherlock Holmes as a headmate, being dinosaurkin, and whatever the gently caress a genderfluid is supposed to mean. "Oh boy..." S06E04 Sam leaps into the body of a man who is being assaulted at night. Sam is overpowered until he realizes the guy has a gun. Fearing for his life, Sam goes for the gun and pulls the trigger. It's only after the smoke clears that Sam notices the Skittles and iced tea. "Oh boy..." S06E05 Sam leaps into a Hitler at a Hitler Convention. They're running low on little mustache combs. "Oh boy..."

S06E08 Sam leaps into a caramel macchiato and must stop it from being exploited as an unfunny forced meme. S06E09 Through a freak accident at the end of the last episode (the macchiato was dumped on a bitcoin mining rig, causing a power surge), Al and Sam switch places and Al leaps into an ISIS fighter before raiding a Yazidi village.
