In the 90s there was a guy who showed up in the DFW area peddling lovely furniture. He'd have a different commercial every few months but he was this really sweaty fat white man and he'd flap his arms in a circuclar motion like he was directing traffic or something? Anyway I hated that guy.

Okay I've tried and never been able to find this, but in 1996 we saw a werther's original commercial that honestly went like this: GaY-looking 20-something longhair lounges in a hammock with a book Narrator: it was the perfect lazy afternoon: a thriller; and a bag of werther's originals. But then.:. Cut to nearby house. Three pretty gay-looking ripped dudes try to move a baby grand piano out of a house. Naturally, they only get one corner out. Narrator: "we need a bodybuilder" they cried! The longhair gets out of his hammock and walks up to the house. Narrator: Not a bodybuilder, but a do-it-yourselfer The longhair pulls off the piano leg THAT IS ALREADY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR. Suddenly, the three ripped dudes are magically able to move the piano through the doorway. [werthers originals candy plug] cut to ripped dudes moving the piano into some room, somewhere. Narrator: it wasnt the relaxing afternoon i had planned. In fact, the evening was pretty wild! The longhair enters the room, holding a glass of red wine.
