They had some really nice songs like I Wanna Hold Your Hand but then they got a little rambunctious and starting making 'rock and roll' which is the work of the devil.

this is the song that sold me on the beatles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a3NcwfOBzQ "The tape loops were played on BTR3 tape machines located in various studios of the Abbey Road building[31] and controlled by EMI technicians in Studio Two at Abbey Road on 7 April.[32][23] Each machine was monitored by one technician, who had to hold a pencil within each loop to maintain tension.[30] The four Beatles controlled the faders of the mixing console while Martin varied the stereo panning and Emerick watched the meters.[33][34] Eight of the tapes were used at one time, changed halfway through the song.[33] The tapes were made (like most of the other loops) by superimposition and acceleration."

Some adults unironically listen to and enjoy the song Yellow Submarine. Might as well just listen to Raffi or whatever kids garbage is popular right now.

I downloaded their bloated catalog of music to listen to in the car, I always end up skipping 99% of their songs to get to the 1 or 2 I actually like. That's my story thanks for listening PS: I also didn't really care for Yoko Yono, she makes me irrationally angry

I'd say that the beatles were average musicians who got exceedingly lucky buy having the entire weight of the burgeoning UK music business thrown behind them. But Ringo's drumming brings their average talent level down to poor/marginal.

I like the Beatles a lot, but some of that may have to do with the fact that I grew up listening to them in the house a lot. It sucks that people feel pressured to like the Beatles because it's great when you meet a genuine fan and not someone who likes them just because they think they are supposed to. One thing that is quite undeniable, whether you appreciate their music or not, is the influence they've had on so many musicians who came after them.
