I own a bunch of houses 7 total. In New England, Abruzzo Italy, Minsk Belarus, Moscow Russia, Yerevan Armenia, Berlin Germany, Paris France. Well the ones everywhere but New England and Abruzzo are not houses but apartments in a large building in the center of each town. The place in Abruzzo is a farm on around 60 acres of land and the place in New England is the place in which I live full time. I have two cars, a 2003 Acura TL 3.2 and a 2013 Honda Accord SE. I have other property also like art and some other poo poo but it doesn't seem germane to the question in the OP. I don't owe any money on any of it.

I own a farm. But it isn't an active farm, I don't farm (verb) with my farm (noun). But its zoned agricultural so I can but pesticides and dynamite down at the co-op if I want. There's a tractor.

I'm attempting to set aside enough money that if I stop living in the single most expense city in the US I can put a good sized dent in the price of a house somewhere less expensive. Not sure I even want a house but the peace of mind helps
