most of the magic of season one was the mix of banal police work and allusions to the practicing of ancient magics in a perverted but ultimately mundane modern world interspersed with McConaughey's metaphysical ramblings. This season has...an angry divorcee cop and a mob guy who wants some success in a casino town, both played by mediocre actors. Unless something crazy starts happening in the next few, this season is gonna be some plain jane boring poo poo. That said, the opening song is fuckin

I finally watched the first episode and i think the show will maybe be good but probably would have been better without ladycop. I'm running through the first season again for a friend that hasnt watched it drat its so good. the pacing is great too. ep 3 starts out strong, gets kind of boring but it needs to cover some talking points, then ends on a super  moment
