It's a tiny country with a tiny economy that has absolutely no influence on the world. If it were to sink into the ocean literally nobody would be affected. If Russia were to decide to annex singapore nobody would give a gently caress. It's literally less of a country than loving Ukraine which is saying a lot.

There's nothing about Singapore that is rich. Economically, culturally, religiously, there's literally no reason for Singapore to even exist.

The Japs could take two tanks and a couple helicopters into Singapore and they'd have the entire loving country in a day. The only reason they don't is because we say they don't.

Why would anyone go to singapore "for the weekend"? At best it's a layover flight to Australia or China. Nobody actually goes there for fun.

Nobody books a ticket for another country just for the food. Unless you're rich and feel like tasting food in another country makes you "cultured".
