Probably. Mexicans generally have pretty good senses of humor and are cool people who laugh at jokes. They are also saddled with the two most hilarious stereotypes of being both very hardworking and lazy at the same time. This was illustrated by Speedy and his cousin, Slowpoke. I appreciate the irony and I am sure the Mexicans do as well. Arriba!

watching TV has somehow turned into a legitimate hobby so people have thrown themselves into it 100%, op, glad that they finally don't have to feel bad for doing it 5 hours a day. So, adults always watched cartoons, it's just that now they will talk about it in public.

Idk man. I hope you are right but I feel like tons of people I meet, especially women, are into adventure time or are beyond obsessed with pretty little liars or other questionable things. Maybe it's because I'm younger still.

it has a lot to do with who you associate yourself with so i recommend not hanging out with people like that after you learn about it because they generally are not well-adjusted people

you cant avoid meeting them at college but fortunately once you are an adult you only have to deal with them from afar, as you see brief, sad snapshots of their lives through mutual friends facebook posts or whatever

theres a lady i work with who is super into anime and stuff but the only way we know that is her bumper stickers and her childrens lunchbox, which is honestly pretty funny and she doesnt give a gently caress that we think she's weird, which is about the most well-adjusted way to deal with that kind of thing. so you might encounter them occasionally but if they can hold down a job and are married they are usually the better kind of nerd

What does it matter if it is a cartoon or not. That is like saying when did it become ok to read murder mysteries. If it has a good story then someone will enjoy it. As for how much they watch that is on them. I will watch a few but i still like a good book more. Preferably with printed text and not on some eReader.

People watch cartoons or reality shows for the same reason they eat junk food or jack off to porno clips. It's unchallenging and emotionally safe in every way, which is necessary for people to unwind after coming home from work.

I think you have a point. I think people have a hard time visualizing that they only have a finite time to live and basing their actions around that. I have a generally positive attitude on porn tho, if nobody wants to sit on your dick while you're horny might as well get it done so you can get back to the rest of your life.

in my eyes being obsessed with dexter or supernatural is exactly the same as being way too into anime or adventure time so i dont see the distinction like other people do

its fairly socially acceptable with shows like simpsons and family guy here

I have never in my life met anyone who says they're into poo poo like spongebob or adventure time or whatever unless it's with their kids and I'd be pretty shocked if anyone at work brought up that they did. I have also never met a brony or seen one anywhere in real life which I'm eternally thankful for

Maybe my generation and the people I surround myself with is too old for that and it's all the rage with people a few years younger than me though, I dunno

Hypothetically the two stereotypes aren't incompatible: they have to work so hard because they don't budget their time properly and spend most of it goofing off/sleeping, so when the deadline comes up they have to make up for all the lost time.

I gave up white women a couple years back because they talked down to my mulatto rear end too often. But I'm encountering these same cartoon/other lovely tv show obsessions youd expect from fat white girls with the women in my area who are largely black. I have one really attractive coworkers with nice big curls but she has a pikachu, sonic the hedgehog, and some other video game poo poo I don't recognized tattoo'd as a leg sleeve. First time I saw her wear shorts I was shocked. Bad day.

To me online porn clips are junk food as opposed to regular porn which is just titillating. There's a difference between a guy who jacks off to a porno for 15 mins because he's horny and a guy who jack off lazily for hours going from one clip to the next partly from horniness and partly from boredom

Haha i think it is more than some obsession if you get Vader tattooed on your butt. But yea watching a show or enjoying a series is fine regardless of genre it is getting people to put it down and look at real life that needs to happen.

The developer of Brigador is a secret chud, don't give him money
The other day I was flipping through the channels and there was some comedy show on. I assume it was a comedy show at least because there was a laugh track. The joke at any rate was that the guy on the screen did something stupid and said he should kill himself. The punch line was a minute long scene of him screaming in faux-japanese gibberish while miming suicide.
