Since we're getting a new thread started: Does anyone attend IRL Smash events? And if so where, and for what games? I'm curious to see how many people actually go to organized tournaments as opposed to only playing with friends or online.

Here is a guide I just wrote on how to choose a true main in Super Smash Bros. Step 1: Buy the game. Step 2: Pick someone you have fun playing as. Your main should feel natural to you, like wearing a glove or a comfortable pair of underpants. Winning or losing, as long as the gameplay feels right to you and your playstyle. Step 3: Your True Main should be a character whom you love and respect deeply. If you're playing Ness, and you've never played Earthbound, he can never be your main no matter how good you are with him. If you play Diddy and you've never gotten 102% in DKC2, you're a fraud. If you're playing Sheik, and you actually like the character, then I question your mental health. This is without doubt the most important part of finding your main, so consider it carefully.

hello new thread. i still only have a 3DS but some day i will have a wii u and be able to play with you. maybe in January if Christmas and my birthday can combine into some cash that doesn't just go immediately into bills. i am still enjoying the game when i play it at my friends' houses and we keep making our amiibos fight and that's more fun than it should be there is a new Smashified and it's Isaac from Golden Sun. he is a 3D model this time instead of just 2D art. i think he looks worse than the other stuff they've made unfortunately but if they keep doing 3D i imagine they'll improve  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t08icOlqzGA

Smashing brothers is really fun and the fact that they added custom equipment and moves is amazing- I grind out equipment for hours hoping to get a rare or slightly better stats gently caress yeah. Falco used to be my bird but he feels kinda nerfed, switched to Pit/Dark Pit and he is an amazing birdboy who has everything falco has and more.
