I saw some SNL retrospective where some guy said Adam Sandler was a hyper genius and was systematically critiquing the genre of sketch comedy in each of his subsequent acts. Because Adam Sandler is a Jewish guy and I am not I am unable to plumb those depths without a guide or translator, and unfortunately the guy talking about Adam Sandler being a critical genius operating within the confines of a genre instead of outside of it didn't fill me on on why Will Ferrell being a sincere male cheerleader was cutting edge and discursive, the one piece of information my goyish mind needed to build the Adam Sandler Rosetta stone that poo poo pee pee dogshit donut
