At first I thought it was just a remote-controlled head, but then the rest of her started moving around, too, while the camera does a long, sweeping motion. Pretty good effect.

I found all episodes to be of good quality and barely noticed the retooling.

I didn't "miss" the retooling; I've been following the thread and knew it was happening. I'm saying I didn't notice much of a change in quality between before and after. I thought the show was pretty okay, all the way through its run.
