I have never been a big gundam fan but this first episode was so good I actually can't wait for the next one. I like how it didn't overload me with sci-fi and political mumbo jumbo, actually had characters I could like/relate too, and goddamn stakes. I guess it's because resources and manpower are so scarce that they can't afford to punish them anymore than just punching really hard. It's probably that and they still think they can intimidate them into falling into line because that's what they normally do. Can wait until first corp is brutally murdered.

Wow this just keeps getting better. Mika is (appropriately) a crazy gently caress. It makes sense they he pretty much wouldn't care about killing since he's been doing this everyday for years.
