the pacific tried to be like thin red line but unfortunately thin red line is hard enough to like even though its really good in the first place if you give the film LOTS of patience BoB on the other hand is 100% solid gold

No one wanted to be there. poo poo was tough getting from one place to the other. Satchel charges are loving sick, Yo. Pebbles and a cut open skull make a great target. I watched the loving series once and said, DONE! BoB, I've rewatched almost double digits. Now that I have a new tv, I'll watch the damned thing again. I bought the Blu-ray, I spent the money. I want to see fireworks blow trees apart and take a man's leg, from the knee down. gently caress, what a good series that is.

also w/r/t the pacific, it was every bit as loving grim and depressing as with the old breed was to read, but i guess that doesnt translate as well into a show Also i like the part in band of brothers (the book) where ambrose is all like "yeah the western allies raped some germans, but not nearly as many as the russians so imo its ok"

I used to think Band of Brothers was loving amazing, just like Saving Private Ryan But then I rewatched Saving Private Ryan and it's actually loving terrible, even the opening scene that it's known for has aged badly. Band of Brothers, in contrast, is still loving amazing HBO got lightning in a bottle with that one that The Pacific couldn't get despite their efforts
