What's the difference between hypnosis for entertainment and hypnosis for therapy? Either way it isn't actually a real thing - it's just the patient/participant going along with it. There's a reason it 'doesn't work on everyone.' Therapeutic hypnosis is the same as teaching someone to just be zen and stop tripping out all the time. It's not actually impairing your judgement or altering your brain chemistry. Dollars to donuts that girl killed herself because of college/academic pressure if she was so stressed out about her SAT that she needed the principal to try hypnosis to help her out (also her friend dying in a car crash), not because of hypnosis. If I'm reading that right 2 of the 3 deaths weren't even on the same day as a hypnosis session so........ unless the allegation is the principal was a serial killer purposefully implanting that poo poo in their heads like it's a 90s TV show idk how he could possibly be at fault. nah, FL just has a special snowflake hypnosis law because it's FLquote:It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the practice of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes unless such person is a practitioner of one of the healing arts, as herein defined, or acts under the supervision, direction, prescription, and responsibility of such a person. At worst you could get him for that and for running an unlicensed therapy session but obv someone thinks the school district is ultimately at fault for the deaths since they are paying out such a huge fine.
