What is this islamic centre doing that warrants being shut down?

Do it ironically posted:you use a false dichotomy and ask me if I think shutting it down would decrease terrorism, I give a reply. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to change what I was asking. I don't actually see a difference between saying that a place is doing something vs it is responsible for doing something. If anything, I see the latter as a weaker statement. What I'm getting at is that nothing in those articles says that that place is doing that. All I can find is that some people met there went on to become terrorists. While that is unfortunate, it's not actually anything to do with what you were saying. You called it an ISIS factory and called for it to be shut down. Why?

Wasting posted:With these Uber protests in Toronto, does anyone else find the media coverage odd? It's all about how the cab drivers failed to sway public opinion in their favour... By blocking traffic. I'm pretty sure they weren't trying to court the public by enraging them, but the media is breathlessly reporting on this as some kind of strategic gaffe, when in fact they forced Tory to do something. When people don't agree with peaceful protesters, they complain that they're "blocking traffic." That's all that's going on here. That plus "Drivers traffic hmm maybe there's a point here."

Man gently caress the green party. We urgently need to reduce our impact on the planet, but not use the amazing tools of nuclear power or genetically modified crops because those are icky. We should make our own party that actually cares about the single greatest issue facing our planet more than some stupid appeal to nature.
