sure you can skip them now, but four months from now you'll have your iWhatever on shuffle mode and suddenly an extremely angry and vulgar young man starts swearing and screaming at another vulgar young person to express their anger about some drama that I could not care less about

it's kinda cringeworthy and I'd prefer to avoid it.
