Look Around You posted:you know, i realized just now what bothers me so much about the pens broadcasters (other than being loving stupid)... every time something happens, they use penalty names (and then mention that there's nothing called). Instead of "tied up on the boards" it's "and he's held along the boards... no penalty on the play". "Run into each other" -> "is interfered with... no penalty on the play"... "stumbles/steps on his stick" -> "is tripped up... no penalty on the play" Jeff Rimer uses "tripped up" im a similar fashion, vague on whether it was worthy of a penalty.

I don't comprehend the Penguins' love affair with Scuderi either. It's not just Johnston, Rutherford is constantly singing Scuderi's praises whenever asked about him and the Pens' TV guys spend half of every broadcast verbally fellating him. It's bizarre. Respected Veteran and all that but we are way, way, way beyond Has-Been status. He was done last year. DONE. And he's only gotten worse this year. And they keep playing him 20 minutes a game and on every single PK while at least two defensemen who are very clearly better are in the minors. It's hosed up. Rutherford didn't even sign him, he could easily chalk Scuderi up as his predecessor's mistake and move on from him. But

As far as anybody knows they did attempt to trade Scuderi as part of the Kessel deal but Scuderi has an NTC and unsurprisingly had Toronto as one of the teams on his no trade list.

Letang's been bad all night and I'm being serious when I say I hope he didn't get concussed at some point early in this game or late in the Habs game.
