Limited myself to ten because Tradition or something. Almost picked Mike Lowell just on account of him being Mike Lowell, the most baseballiest of baseballers.

I think my picks, beyond the obvious, are pretty defensible, but I'm sure I picked somebody dumb and everyone will laugh at me.

Voted Griffey, Edgar, McGwire, Mussina, Hoffman, Sheff and Raines.

Also voted Luis Castillo because I'm a huge Marlins fan.

It is me, I am the guy who gives the pity vote to a local player. A Bad Sportswriter.

Hey man I almost voted Castillo for two decent-ish Twins seasons. It's okay.

Nathan's 2004-2009 were completely absurd but I don't think you can put a guy in off of six years.

Especially considering how epically he collapsed after that. There wasn't a real gradual decline iirc. He went from lights out to a tire fire in the span of a season.

Literally the only thing I disliked about Sheffield was his bat-tipping in his stance. It looked goofy as hell and I always wondered how his timing worked out with it.
