When I first read Reddit a few years ago I noticed it was basically just SA and 4chan circa 2006. As in, re-posting ancient loving memes that were long ago retired except for a nostalgic chuckle. Now, with a fresh audience of 16 yos, they act like all this "fresh" comedy came from them. Truth is, Reddit doesn't generate its own content at all. It's pretty much just a bulletin board for people too young to know what is good. Every time some young person says unabashedly that they're a Redditor, I feel kind of bad for them. Like, "sorry you don't know the potential of the internet to be good and having to rely on a tard echochamber." SA is still good. Love the haters. They make this cesspool of filth and cruelty fun. Reddit is Shasta. SA is whiskey. They'll both gently caress up your organs, but one is a sugary kid-drink and the other is good BECAUSE its old.
