is pizza hut in your area currently offering a crust filled with hot dogs and/or amenable to dipping? that's a clear winner. if not, get your tipsy butt to the grocery and buy a red baron. maybe a pack of pepperonis too if you've really got The Greed.

Has anyone ever heard of lamppost pizza? My parents always used to get their pizza when I was a kid. I haven't had it in years and I don't think they have any pizzerias open in my city anymore.

My town has a number of decent to good pizza places, to the point where I'm amazed those lovely chains still get business around here. I fell bad for you, OP, if you don't have atleast one decent local pizza place.

See, the trick is to buy frozen pizzas, but then add fresh cheese and topping on top of the pizza before sticking it in the oven, comes out better than any of the chain pizza crap. hth
