Obama should do what Jed Bartlet did in that episode of West Wing--nominate a conservative, get Ginsburg to retire, and nominate a liberal firebrand. It is now even more important that either Hillary or Bernie win in November, because despite Hillary's shittiness I'd rather have her pick Scalia's replacement than loving Trump or Rubio.
