Well, you were able to unleash animals on enemies in 3 but you had no control over them. Here, in the absence of guns, you need animal superpowers!

I like how whole skill trees are locked behind getting actual trainers back at your base and building a home for them. In fact I like the population mechanic in general, it's neato. Unlike in previous Far Cries I feel like all the poo poo I'm collecting is being put to use.

Especially since you can indeed burn through resources quickly if you get in the habit of lighting weapons on fire or throwing weapons around.

Also once you can ride sabertooth tigers you can get around town FAAAAST. Hahahha.
