Basically skype went to poo poo when microsoft took over. It has invasive ads, all kinds of issues, and frankly pisses me off. When Bernie Sanders is president, he should decree a law that all chat services have to allow 3rd party clients to connect to their network, otherwise their assets will be nationalized. That would fix up the trouble with Skype on the quick.
