While the town of Adjective Springs has always given the impression of being a pleasant place to enjoy a peaceful life, it has always had a well kept secret. It was plagued by organised crime, a small group of mafiosos who take advantage of the lack of a competent or trustworthy police force to run the town like their own personal kingdom. Anyone who spoke out about doing something to deal with this state of affairs tended to be visited with beatings by masked individuals. However, one night things went far enough to push the townspeople over the edge. SirSamVimes, the Moderator-aligned Plot Device was shot during Night 0. Beatings, extortion, "protection money"... These could be lived with, but now they were murdering people? It was time for the mafia to be dealt with. Day 1 begins. CapitalistPig is now co-moderating this game.
