I thought the conventional wisdom was to ignore heavies until they boarded since activations are so rare they usually don't get a chance, then ABF them. But with so many possible max firepower's if might be easier to wait until they're in a launch zone then XO or AVP & shoot them down, like the echo heavy is right now.

Yea, it's just MFs being way better at pouring shots on it than armory activations. I wouldn't kill them before raiders though. (Also it's not like we have the CFB where removing heavies is actually important)

Some Numbers posted:If I get to AVP, I'll go ahead and shoot at it, but it still takes a 7 to destroy it. What I meant was that there are only a couple of ABF in the deck, but alot of Max Firepower's that anybody can draw, so it might be better to try and knock out a heavy with a max firepower right before it lands, rather than hoping we get an ABF before it get's down the track.
