Time After Time is an amazing movie so at the very least them making a show about it is a net positive because it means that more people will learn that they did indeed make a movie where H.G. Wells invents a time machine and travels to the 1970s to catch Jack the Ripper.

I wonder if they'll get David Warner and Malcolm McDowell to cameo, it's not like either of them is hard to get. Actually watching the trailer now it looks like Sleepy Hollow only without the batshit mythology that made that series so surprisingly good for the first season.
