while being on separate ends of the political spectrum? my friend group consists of a libertarian, a republican, a progressive socialist, a liberal, and a go-with-the-flow kind of guy. we almost never discuss politics because when we do it leads to arguments. but I wonder, is it possible to actually stay friends with someone while also discussing politics with them on the reg? if anyone has any personal experience in this regard, post it here **this thread is NOT for political discussion**, just a way for goons to share their thoughts and personal experience

until I started my last job I never had a mature political discussion with anyone. my coworkers then and now seem to be politically diverse and emotionally mature so that's where I get my politics rocks off nowadays facebook discussions with old friends are always poo poo shows though.
