the LL movie did feel kind of lacking to me. like there wasn't enough Stuff to fill all the time, and also one or two of the songs was totally uninteresting. anyway, the first two episodes of sunshine have been great, and i think this might turn out to be an even better series than the original. as surface-level as it is, i appreciate that they gave a character an unusual hobby like scuba diving. it might be surface level characterization, but it's better than nothing.

i actually kind of like how they're using the seaside setting so far. there's a lot of random shots of them out on the ocean, a few members of the main cast have hobbies and interests relating to the sea, etc. the most the original love live did with its setting was acknowledging japan's largest alpaca farm.

zura is high because she has two characters that you can draw her hanging out with technically kanan is friends with you and chika but she isn't like constantly hanging around them she's just an older friend they talk to sometimes

Like, the 1st (only?) manga chapter was just those two. But I suppose most of the pvs and the anime focused a lot on the 2nd years as a group.

yeah i really like all the scenes involving the ocean, at least visually i think they all look very nice and give the characters more interesting places to interact with each other also yohane is cool

Also, Mari is great and I am glad she is the new principal. For a moment I was a bit disappointed they were doing the same thing as in the original with the first concert being a huge failure, but i'm glad that didn't end up happening. I'm happy that Chika's sisters and their classmates got very involved in helping out the concert. Uranohosi seems like a cool place.
