Game....Blouses.
Problem description: So a while back my Chrome got messed up some how. I feel like I picked up some malware or something, I'm not sure. But now it's started to give me the "oh snap" error whenever I open a new tab. It doesn't do it immediately, it'll load for a bit, say a minute or two, then "oh snap" blah blah.

Attempted fixes: The thing is I've tried "reseting" chrome in the settings. I've downloaded and used the Chrome Cleanup Tool. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome. Despite all this the problem persists. So I'm not sure what to do next...ideas?

Recent changes: No.

Operating system: Windows 10

System specs: Dell XPS L501X Laptop, though I don't think this is a hardware problem, other browsers work fine.

Location: US

I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes

If you're worried about malware see if these pick anything up:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tdsskiller/
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/

If they do pick stuff up you'll want to do a scan using

Ce qui s'est passé t'a rendu plus fort
I've been having similar problems with Chrome. Not with all web sites, though. SA works great but Youtube starts the video and plays it for 10 seconds or so and then Oh Snap. That doesn't happen if I play the video through Facebook though. Or if I go to Youtube with IE11.

I tried reinstalling Chrome and then I tried the programs you recommended. TDSSKiller didn't find anything but the other two found a bunch of stuff (hard to say what was actually harmful and what was just useless) and I deleted it all. Next I wanted to run Windows Defender but I can't get it to update so it won't run. I boot from a USB stick but it fails to connect to Internet so it can't update. I went to some MS page that let me download an executable (mpas-fe.exe) that should manually update the Defender but when I run it nothing happens.

Anyway, ADWcleaner and JRT It didn't help, Youtube keeps crashing. Any ideas? I'm on a Win 7 laptop.

I'd try installing WDO onto the USB stick from another computer. It's possible some malware/virus is blocking the connection.
