Polonia Samsara Within the gleaming iridium edged spires of Lucian IV ("where the hymns are modulated, and democracy happens at just under the speed of light!") it is common practice to raise the children of citizens in a more communal setting. This serves several important purposes: it keeps them out of their parent's hair while they do important things, inculcates them with the basics of a citizen's education, and ensures there's a qualified responder on had when one of the ministorum novitates starts levitating her toys. That last one doesn't come up quite as often as you think, but it did when Polonia was in kindergarden. She's notably circumspect about her sanctioning experience, even around other psykers; if there's anything that the masters of the Black Ships are good at, it's doing whatever it takes to get bewildered children with an eye for circuit design to become productive members of society. Polonia Samsara (technically, Provost Psykana Motus Polonia Samsara) is a rarity among inquisitorial operatives: a former operative. She spends most of her time studying for her Primaris certification testing in between molding traumatized young sactionites into slightly less traumatized, slightly older sanctionites -- they like you to have some teaching hours. That's all out the window now, since her ladyship the inquisitor has displayed her usual disregard for other people's plans and summoned her "favorite ablative brain-shield" to participate in some expression of the labyrintine structure of inquisitorial honor debts.
