Normally, these types of threads are a discussion - everyone comes in and says that X or Y is the worst, whatever. This is not a discussion, this is a thesis: The worst TV show theme song is "I Know You Know" for the show Psych. Consider: -The song is performed by the show's producer's vanity band "The Friendly Indians" -It is annoyingly catchy without any substance -It yells PSYCH! in the last line in a really jarring way because that's the name of the show, do you get it?? -Every season they get the idea to cutesy it up with varyingly awful results, from a cover with a bunch of extraneous sleigh bells for Christmas to another one sung in piss-poor first-year Spanish and apparently recorded in a broom closet -The show is actually decent for goofy syndicated trash, making it all the more tragic The evidence is all there.

My father in law was on a real jazz/bebop/big band kick a few months ago and I threw on the soundtrack and he was floored. I've heard the composer Yoko Kanno rips off a ton of other music, which sucks, but it's still really drat good music and I think like 99% of the Bebop soundtrack is original anyway.
