Most if not all states remove the right to vote from felons, although whether it is permanent or not varies some from state to state. I think this election season has proven that we need to apply this concept more widely, and increase the number of things that cause offenders to lose their right to vote. To start the list, I would suggest the following as being sufficient to bar someone from voting for a period of at least 5 years: 1. Voluntarily watching NASCAR. 2. Being observed "rolling coal." 3. Shopping at Hobby Lobby. 4. Being a regular poster on D&D. What else should be added to the list in order to improve the state of the nation?

Chinatown posted:living in any state that is landlocked or has a gulf coastline I can get behind this suggestion, although we might need clarification on whether the Great Lakes count as not being landlocked. I'm not sure that Minnesota should be allowed to vote.

The only thing keeping conservatives in power are the 65+ year old vote. So a constructive change would be banning the elderly from voting.

No, I don't agree with this, except regarding the aforementioned D&D posters. Although there should also be a loss of voting rights due to anime-viewership, which would also reduce the SA voting pool.

Being younger than 40 or older than 50. Actually, gently caress it. You get one vote the year you are 45, then that's it forever.
