I have multiple strings of Halloween lights. My bat lights alternate between purple and orange and my spider lights alternate between purple and green. All very good colours for a spooky time.

Thanksgiving has the best colors. The soft pastels mixed with the delicate traces of earthy blends. It also reminds me while I'm not thankful for poo poo.

Halloween is overrated and most of its enthusiasts come across as tryhards. Christmas colors are the best IF you know how to use the warmer tones like red, white, yellow, and gold (e.g very selectively ) and for the most part keep every color muted and earthy. And quit using so many Christmas lights it turns every town into an Alaskan summer. That poo poo was a joke in Christmas Vacation a quarter of a century ago.

Halloween for sure. And yes, purple and bright green have always been honorary Halloween colors. They’re the fun slime and gross stuff colors to go with the spooky pumpkins and witches of the orange and black.
