I never set out to be weird. It was always other people who called me weird.
I feel like everything in the world is going to poo poo and everywhere you turn something bad is happening. So tell me about the other side. What is there to be happy about? Could be something in the news, from your personal life, whatever. Let's spread some cheer.

I saw a duck today in the creek by my house. It hung out near me and quacked a bunch.

The last time I tried this, I found https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org and the headline was "Swayze Projects To Continue Despite Cancer," so YMMV. If you're in the US and are going to see the eclipse tomorrow, make sure you're somewhere where there are birds .
Pakistan has been taking a more slow and steady approach and has planted a billion since 2015 https://www.voanews.com/a/pakistan-billion-trees/3983746.html :unsmith:

:justpost:

I met two tiny fluffy white dogs outside Kaiser yesterday and the man with them waved me over to pet them. He told me he was training the smaller one to be a diabetes dog and was sitting there so he could get the dog socialized and more comfortable around people. :3:

The bigger dog is his wife's. It wakes her up at night if she's hypo/hyperglycemic and has done so a few times which has saved her from having seizures or going into a coma.

I thought that was neat and good so I hope that makes you a little happier.

On the whole, people are becoming less racist.

Violent crime in the US is at its lowest since 1976.

There has been lots of great work going on in a combined effort to tackle tropical diseases that were previously ignored.
