I remember I had this point and click Jurassic Park game on Sega CD and I could never figure out what the gently caress you were supposed to do I played around for like 10 minutes and started throwing rocks at dinosaurs and they killed me

I read Jurassic Park at the urging of my Mom, who had also just read it, and loved every page of it at the time, and then the movie came out very shortly after. I was just young enough that it was the last movie that actually scared me, like when the T-rex roared really loud for the first time in the rain, I grabbed my mom's hand, so I was pretty young. It was the last time I'd be scared for a movie, and just the right age to really grasp what I'd been reading in the novel. It was awesome. e: I was 17

I still really like the book. The movie is good too, it's a classic, but the book was terrifying to read as a kid and isn't confined to movie length.

when I was 5 or so my dad rented Jurassic Park on videotape. I didn't like it because the movie starts out with a lot of boring talking and explanation and stuff but he said you have to wait until the water in the cup starts vibrating. He must have seen the movie before
