This is a real question since I've seen tons of wieners and balls and stuff. Has anyone ever seen art of a hemorrhoid? I heard once that like 25% of people have them but I don't think I've ever seen a hemorrhoid in a piece of artwork in my whole life. Please post the hemorrhoid if you know of it.

i learned in surgery that everyone has hemorrhoids, 3 actually. when they get swollen u gotta cut em off. one time i rode my bike too much and got one that was all purple and angry looking, i thought i had rear end cancer for sure.

movements in art are usually about expressing an idea throughout a culture or generation. even if we have paintings about hemorrhoid, i wouldn't really say its been apart of a movement in art, or explored in art. i would say it would have to be either more specific in whose hemorrhoid or the conditions of how you got one.. for example if someone did paintings on pregnant people who have hemorrhoids with a visual emphasis on the roid. or if an individual purposely got a hemorrhoid and then spread their cheeks and let people look at the hemorrhoid, as a performance piece. then i think we could say we have been exploring hemorrhoids in art. as far as taboos, we have to consider that the Internet has given us a ton of taboo material, at a moments notice. also we have to then decide what is art and what is just illustration/craft etc. are all those deviant art pictures of fwuffy ponies and engorged women art? i dont think people would consider it Art. maybe you could argue that when a person embodies their fetish and lives it constantly and in public, it is a performance piece on their sexuality. But i think it isnt Art unless they intentionally decide that their actions are performative, and that there is a goal where the viewer must consider an idea. otherwise its just weirdos who cant keep their sex lives to themselves. with all this being said I think there is both plenty of taboo material and plenty of unexplored concepts in art. taboo is probably not going to have the shock factor it used to have because there is some weird poo poo on the internet. and some older topics are still culturally shocking, so we could continue to explore these in art. women could do pieces on abortions and plenty of americans would consider it disgusting.
