Preds 6 - I can definitely see Dallas grabbing a couple wins but I think Nashville is better all around Jets 7 - I think it will take a game or 2 for Winnipeg to wake up and remember how to play, but I have faith Avs 6 - yes Calgary has had our number this year but I think if we play smart we can beat them, with Rantanen coming back and Grubby being hot there is potential here Sharks 5 - I don't think Vegas will repeat what they did last year Bolts 6 - as much as I want the Bolts to go down in flames, I just don't see CBJ being the team to do it. Duchene will continue being on teams that have 1st round exits Bruins 5 - I would've put a sweep but I want Toronto to win game 1 and then watch the hope die slowly from Leafs fans as they then lose 4 straight  Caps 5 - Good on you, Carolina, but like Ovi said last year "we won't be loving suck!" Pens 7 - this one is a crap shoot for me, Isles have been surprisingly good but it's Pittsburgh, they're still pretty stacked

Boston/Toronto: Boston in 7 Going to be a super close series, and if Toronto can get going, they can take this. But, I feel like Boston will squeak by. Washington/Carolina: Carolina in 6 I have to pick some spoilers, and I like the make-up of Carolina's team. Pittsburgh/NYI: Pittsburgh in 6 I have to go with the boring pick. Pittsburgh. Calgary/Colorado: Calgary in 5 Calgary is a well-stacked team. I think it comes down to Rittich for them. San Jose/Vegas: Vegas in 6 I don't trust San Jose's goaltending. I like Vegas. Nashville/Dallas: Nashville in 6 Honestly, I'd like to see Dallas get by here, but I just think Nashville is too talented. Winnipeg/St. Louis: Winnipeg in 7 This is going to be the tightest series of the first 8. Either team can take this. I lean towards Winnipeg, because with Morrissey and Big Buff back, on paper, they are the better team. I also have come up with three combinations of the Final 4 for my playoff pools.
