Gusev has been by far the Devils best outside of maybe Hischier who looks noticeably stronger on the puck. Fox has looked good too, making some plays with his skating.

So I hope we didn’t just lose Panarin and Kakko in the same pre-season game. Kakko looked real uncomfortable at the end there. Get em healthy Quinn, sit them for the rest of the pre-season if need be. Also the MSG Go app is just outright terrible. I can’t emphasize that enough.

They said it was a minor groin pull and that they were just being cautious, but I’d expect them to say that no matter what. Hoping for the best but fearing the worst. Also NHL.tv was crap tonight. Game kept freezing and if I’d kill the app and relaunch, the game would come back but with the loading spinny circle permanently on the screen. Hope they clear that up before the start of the season.

This is gonna sound like a weird comparison because he's a lot smaller but Hughes reminds me a lot of Malkin stylistically with the moves he makes and the way he skates.
