This is a thread that I noticed was missing, but I think it's really important and serves a vital purpose. That purpose is, of course, talking about your favorite Sega games, consoles, characters, really anything Sega related.

To be honest, I mostly just really wanted to talk about how Super Monkey Ball Deluxe is a perfect video game. It's easy to pick up, incredibly hard to master, hard as balls generally, amazing minigames to blow off steam so you don't give your controller bite marks, beautiful and interesting art direction, cute little story mode. Plus it has the best speedruns. Check this out:

sega megadrive ftw imo

i had a streets of rage 2 cartridge that played 1.2-1.5x speed the original and i had no idea it was supposed to be slower until i played emulated copies on a pc

Sega CD and Sega Saturn were pretty rad. They were by far the fanciest consoles my eight year old mind could ever conceive of. I have fond memories of playing such smash hits as Vay, Guardian Heroes, and Dark Wizard.

Sega was my childhood tbh. Had a 3 in 1 game with golden axe, streets of rage and shinobi. The first two of those were played to death by me and siblings. Toejam & Earl also, sonic obvs, some hard as hell tailspin game. Decap attack

Didn't actually play Streets of rage 2 until I discovered emulators in my teen years but even without childhood nostalgia I was still amazed how much better it was

I got a JP Mega Drive some time ago and it's very neat. Planning on getting also a 8bitdo M30 pad with a matching black receiver

Warsong/Langrisser on the genesis was great until I learned the other systems' versions were better. Langrisser 2 was also good even if Der Langrisser on the SNES had more paths.
