Garrett's having a monster year so far, and yesterday's game pretty much locked him in as DPotY frontrunner if he weren't already. You could argue he single-handedly won the Browns that game. (alternatively, you could argue the refs won the Browns the game)

The perception seems to be that Vrabel is a good coach but the previous GM did him dirty with the roster. They’re still competitive and play hard on defense, they just don’t have much beyond Henry on the offensive side.
