num lock makes absolutely no sense on modern keyboards. jesus this old model-f here, it makes sense. its got the 10 key but no other navigation keys. only on boards like this, does make it make sense to turn the numpad into a movement pad otehrwise its just turning a functional part of the keyboard redundant can it be turned off. i once turned off caps lock throgh a registry setting,. i just turned caps lock off on this board via a dip switch. can i turn num lock off. scroll lock is the least pointless

well ive turned my caps lock into seconadry ctrl key and i can DIP switch my way to a place where scroll lock turns on and off OS keys but numlock will forever live to gently caress poo poo up forever

As a Millennial I posted:what the heck does scroll lock do, anyway. in a terminal it makes the arrow keys scroll the terminal instead of move the cursor i think also it lets you control tera copy for windows
