I don't know what it's rated at, but I ended up beating the hell out of a burglar with my Coast 500 and it's just as good as the day I bought it. Your mileage may vary, but I swear by their products personally and professionally.

I'm sorry John, I don't remember
Has anyone tried the Shadowhawk X800? I enjoy my Maglite XL200 but I'd like to get one that's brighter and with a greater beam distance, thinking about the Mag-Tac 320, Fenix PD35 or Nitecore MH25.

Main uses are for camping, hiking and at the cabin.

Yay!
I use mainly Convoy S2+ ones - spend a lot of time in unlit lofts, underground water tanks, etc. Cheap as chips from here - http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=582
Or, a better bet, about the same size - the Astrolux S1 from Banggood - http://www.banggood.com/Astrolux-S1-CREE-XPL-1600LM-7-4modes-LED-Flashlight-18650-18350-p-1012721.html
They use 18650 batteries, charger is a few dollars, and you have modes from "cigarette lighter" to "so bright the torch gets too hot to hold", and both can be shortened if you want an easily pocketable light (with a smaller battery).
Both pretty much bulletproof, both the same size, both easily made into horribly bright lights for not a lot of money.
