Due diligence much? Of course there are probably 1,000 other behind the scene type things but the buyers remorse one is quite epic. It's funny but it also underscores how loving rich the kind of guy who can own a sports team (or entire league!) is. Like the 10s of millions he lost aren't even material to him. And he can probably use the loss to offset taxes on his successful ventures, meaning it's basically a wash anyway.

I think he even said it himself later in the article that he hosed up and didn't do proper due diligence, which is hilarious for a billionaire investment banker

I'm dubious of anything ESPN trots out about the AAF at this point, given ESPN and Vince McMahon have business ties via DraftKings. So it shouldn't be a surprise this nice piece of XFL promotional copy went out at the same time as the AAF article - https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26958876/can-xfl-20-succeed-where-aaf-why-already-jump-start

This long article about the AAF's behind-the-scenes drama and financial issues just dropped earlier at ESPN- https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26957796/inside-short-unhappy-life-alliance-american-football

I have an Atlanta Legends hat that I loving love cause it’s dope as hell. Also I wore it golfing in my honeymoon in the Bahamas and a guy working there asked if I was on the team.
