I don't think anyone expected Rodgers to explode after four snaps, but I would have been much better off picking Allen or Hill that's for certain. Tyler Bass, the Cowboys D and Jonnu Smith were all good picks though

I think I was very competent the first 5 rounds (G. Wilson - J. Cook - S. Perine - G. Zurlein - BAL D/ST). None of those picks were spectacular or anything, but they weren't disasters either and probably ensured I would be mediocre rather than outright bad. In hindsight, it's hilarious that we thought Dalvin Cook might swing the league if he signed late enough and created a special rule for him. Yeah lol The biggest piece of conventional wisdom that was totally bunk was the idea that this would be a league of have and have-not's on the basis of rostering a starting QB. Three of the players in the top 4 did not grab a QB in the first several rounds. mcmagic literally won because he opted for Hill over Mac Jones.

Yeah we definitely did not adjust for the impact of nerfing points for passing stats. Live and learn! mcmagic did also hit the jackpot with all of his backup QBs getting to play without having to spend any meaningful picks on them. But Hill was the big brain play for sure
