He wrestled five matches at Judgment Day (one 3-Stage Match against Angle (Pinfalls/Submissions/Ladder), 2 tag matches with Jericho in the Tag Team Turmoil), then the Quad-Breaker match against the Power Trip on Raw, and then the very next night at the Smackdown tapings, he and Jericho wrestled in TLC 3 and put on a hell of a show. Benoit was the major-league man that week. But I'd go with TLC 3 because Benoit, despite being beat up and exhausted, he still marched out with bruised ribs to win the whole thing.

LL, your argument is that even though people appear to be quoting a publication that talks about a newspaper ad that was placed AT THE TIME OF SAID PUBLICATION, that it's all been made up and someone just invented this poo poo eleven years ago just because people can't seem to pull up the Observer or the ad itself? So Jake comes down and kicks the crap out of Rude in the ring and rips the tights off. I remember watching this on WWF Spotlight and when Jake ripped Rude's tights off they blurred out Rude's crotch as if he was completely naked. I've always wondered, was Rude really naked in the ring or did he have a speedo or something on? I apologize if this has already been answered.

It's an opinion piece filled with glaring omissions, revisionist history, and slightly-off versions of actual events. It's a fantastic book, but it's not without its problems. It also got much of the story correct.
