So The Slackers have a new album coming out tomorrow on 420  The Great Rocksteady Swindle http://interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=177495& I didn't know about this, as I haven't been keeping up with The Slackers lately. But I'm pretty excited to check it out, last I got from them was Self Medication which was pretty good.

Having never seen them before (the last time they even played here was when I was 4), I don't have anything to compare it to, but they were pretty much just as I expected: awesome. Looking forward to TMT on friday.

I saw Streetlight over the weekend at Stevens University. There was only around 200 people there. It was incredible seeing them in such a small setting. They only played Linoleum and Hell from their newest album, which was great because I was worried that it would be a set of all covers. I would have liked They Provide the Paint. Do they ever play that live?
