Amethyst posted:I love David Lynch and Dune but that movie was bad. i think he decided he couldn't film a fighting technique that was all about inward muscular control and stuff that movie could have been good but the way the studio butchered it shows so bad "hmm it's running long let's cut out massive amounts of plot and replace them with voiceover" the visuals etc own but if you haven't read the book it's incomprehensible the sci-fi one may have had wonky effects etc but at least it gave the story some room to breathe. also they did the first two sequels also so there's that (god emperor supremacy)
