Harry Potter should count as sci-fi because then we can talk about that, and I've finally just got around to reading/finishing that series and watching the movies and it was rad as hell, I can see why everyone was going apeshit over it like ...a decade ago or whatever. anyway post what house you'd be in i'd be in house passnpuff lol

HP storyline was fun and the movies were well done and they hit three grand slams in a row with the three main actors, the movies aged right along with the principal audience and they didn't stretch it too much, though i think the hallows split was kind of unnecessary. if you get disproportionately butthurt @ HP you are probably not much fun to be around

the Harry Potter series really suffers from George Lucas syndrome. Rowling needs to be heavily edited to be good. after the books became a huge success no one dared edit her anymore and that's why the last book was 400 pages of the Worst Camping Vacation Ever. HP is fun, but in now way good books. if you can't enjoy a good story even if it was written for a younger audience, you are probably still an awkward teen at heart.
