There's a chance it's been posted on SA before, but I checked this thread and I didn't see it. I found it via Stumbleupon, and liked it a lot. Archetype - a short film about a combat robot who remembers being human: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB53H3-qOWk

Russian video of two guys in a street fight in the middle of the day. Random bystanders walk by when things get really out of hand. I'll warn you guys this video is pretty shocking, but my jaw was completely dropped how something like this could happen in the middle of the day and most people walk right past... (beginning is slow, gets brutal towards the end) Somebody fucked around with this message at 20:02 on Jun 28, 2012 |

^^^^^^^^ I've seen some awful poo poo. But that was really bad. I suggest not watching it. Especially since the guy who got hit with the brick apparently died. Seriously, save yourself the pain of it. Skip this.

^^^^^ Yeah, it's downright sad honestly.. I've always wanted to visit Eastern Europe/Russia and watching this makes me never want to get near it in my life. What the gently caress, man. How is that on YT? That's right up there with the Berg beheading or the Chechnyan rebel beheading. Can't unsee that. As soon as I saw the guy drop I figured he was dead, but I watched to the end in the hope that he'd wake up. He didn't. Those screams... The translation says he died after being in a coma for 10 days. And kicking the woman who was trying to help him in the face? Jesus. Here's something a bit less FacesOfDeath. I just finished watching Aussie comedian Adam Hills' "Inflatable" so I thought I'd post a couple of his standup bits. Here he is on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, talking about Americans, and his artificial leg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OApf-TH9wTU and this is an oldie but a goodie. Adam Hills performs the Australian national anthem, to the tune of an Aussie pub rock classic "Working Class Man". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiEycVMKoJo edit: One more. Adam Hills' comedy music trivia show Spicks and Specks (named after the Bee Gees song not the racist slur, post racial America). I could see it working as something like D pad moves your character and goes through doors, A button jumps, B button grabs cubes. Hit Select to change to moving the portal cursor, then A and B place the orange and blue portals. Hit Select again to go back to moving the character.

Crossposting from the military pictures thread, I've been working on another post for my blog looking at Free Syrian Army equipment, and come across another couple of DIY weapons. First of all a home made rocket https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-enr9t-iuD4 I do have my doubts about how useful it'll actually be if they can't build a lot of them, and they probably won't be too accurate anyway. A more useful weapon is this DIY mortar system https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ta9tjJCcOwc
