It's a Maggotmaster reference? Huh. That's exactly the sort of thing they'd do on the show, so I thought it was just fanart.

glitchkrieg posted:Some sensitive screening of their comments feed by Channel 4 For a little more explanation on this; The question was sent in by someone to a feature on the Last Leg with Adam Hills, (which is a comedy/magazine programme on after the Paralympic coverage on Channel 4) called 'Is it ok?' where guests and Adam Hills would answer questions that people felt uncomfortable asking but were still genuinely curious about; 'What would happen if a Paralympic sprinters prosthesis broke halfway through a race?' 'Why do Paralympic swimmers with arm amputations not swim in circles?' etc. That question got sent in (with the questioner messaging the show to say that he had sent in the question to wind up his wheelchair using friend) and put up on screen, and was answered in the next nights episode, where you had Jody Cundy answer that 'Of course it's ok, just treat them like you would anybody else'. George Osbourne getting booed at the Paralympics, as he's the Minister who has overseen the biggest loss in benefits to disabled people in the UK ever.

Hey Detroit, you're depressing. I think the sign explains this one. Abandoned building, with some windows still up, looking downtown. This is about one block from Comerica Park. Scott Fountain, which they don't run, and don't keep clean. The copper tubing was stolen like six years ago. Bird in a Blender fucked around with this message at 23:01 on Sep 4, 2012 |

The worst part is that the guy actually laughed it off. gently caress you.

A UK ad agency trying to be edgy? Nothing new, considering that winning a Chip Shop Award is an accolade in the advertising industry. This is Iris, who have decided to illustrate their new starter benefits guide by mocking "chav culture". Maybe I'm being too sensitive, especially considering I've worked in advertising, but I just find a middle class industry punching down like that pretty distasteful. Bonus point: they were the guys responsible for Olympic things like Wenlock and Mandeville.
