Man-Thing has gained complete sentiance and now has the ability to talk to people. His language is X'Celsior! which will translate itself automatically to everyone in a language they understand the best. This sometimes gives Man-Thing strange accents, too.

Aw, spoilers guys,

I hadn't read that Spider-Men issue yet.

I get that the scene doesn't really ruin anything, but still, it's nice to have some suspension of belief about what goes down. Maybe we should wait a little while before posting panels (badass or funny) from newer issues, just out of courtesy to other BSSers?

I thought it was kind of an unwritten rule but people were posting panels from Hawkeye #2 like 45 minutes after the earliest comic shops opened.

Not unless your earliest comic shop opened at 9:38 PM (EST). I mean, I thought the official rule was that anything was fair game after it was available for purchase, and while it might be nice to put in a rule for all these "post your favorite panel" threads, the issue arises of where to draw the line.

I've kind of learned to live with it. You can't really expect to look up anything related to comics without randomly being spoiled on something. As someone who is pretty new to comics and constantly go back and forth between runs, it's annoying, but not a big deal.

Like, I pretty much know everything that happens to Fantomex from birth to death and I've only just been introduced to him in New X-Men and am only at issue 15 or something in UXF. And that's just from random posts here.

Yeah, I get that, but it's way different when it literally just came out. Sometimes it takes a day or a week to go out and hit the comic shop, life's busy sometime.

A few months or years is totally understandable, though.

ANYWAY, just to repost it for the new thread, here's probably my favorite comic ever. A lot of people say the most recent Ghost Rider run was bad... and for the most part they're right, but #7 and 8, where GR (who is a girl in this run) and depowered Johnny Blaze team up with Hawkeye are simply wonderful. So they're fighting Steel Wind and Steel Vengeance, two ridiculous old Ghost Rider enemies...
